Is there a way of filtering out units(LCUs) that are separated and can be merged into a bigger formation?
Or something similar for air groups?

With the change I made for the next release, you can sort on the new "Parent" column in the LCU panel and that will show you.

For the air groups, I didn't add that yet...
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Is it possible to have an alert letting us know when a unit has upgraded its TO&E please? I know we already get the one letting us know TO&E can upgrade but another one letting us know which unit in particular has upgraded would be of great help, especially in Australia where the Australia Command gets to move from one end to another lending its support to upgrading units

Do you have a pair of saves (before and after) so that I can test this out?

Is there a problem with listing LCUs that reached their destination in the alert screen?
I can see it in the LCU screen under history, unit was in Batangas(79,78) on turn 6 with destination set to Lucena and arrived at Lucena(79,79) on turn 7 but I can't find anything in the Alert screen for it.

It would also be nice to have another row on the LCU screen with the destination a unit is moving to and also a filter that allows us to see units in move mode but without destination, effectively showing either "arrived at destination" or "forgot to set destination" units.

It usually works. If you have a specific example you want me to check out, you'll need to send a save before the LCU reaches the destination and a save after it reaches it. Send to witptracker @ gmail.com.

Let me look into that.

In addition to that getting all the rows that are in the history pop-up also on the main LCU screen would be helpful too, I'm talking about the "Combat", "Destination" & "March row"(I wonder why they are in the history pop-up anyway, why should I be interested in seeing what combat mode the unit had many turns ago).
With that you could maybe then put just another row in called "Location matches Destination" with the results being Yes/No when comparing the location & destination rows.

Guys, feature suggestion: on the air group screen, can you show max planes for the group like you do for the pilots?  9[24] or something like that?

Be handy when checking groups for allocating a/c pools.

Thanks

I have a weird issue of my own. Palembang doesnt show up in the tracker... PBEM end of Jan 42 as Japanese player. Oosthaven and all the other bases on Sumatra show up, but not Balembang. Its not in the base list and its oil/fuel production doesnt show up in the industry charts. Any ideas? In the bases screen, I have all countries selected from all regions and it shows all bases but Balembang.

edit: its Palemgbang, not Balemgang. Wasted 5 turns scratching my head. [:D]

Screen questions: Devices

Post by PaxMondo »

Basic questions here, I'm a little slow.  Can you clarify a few of your definitions?  THanks.

On the Device Screen, you have the following columns: Pool, Need, Used,Draw, ...

Pool = # devices available to be moved into a unit
Need = Total delta between TOE and actual unit device loads (?)
Used = game (month?, day?) usage of device (?)
Draw = ???

Then on the History screen for a specific device you have (on the bottom half): Amt, TOE, Delta, Repl

Amt = current # of devices in that unit
TOE = current TOE of that device in that unit
Delta = ??? (Somethimes this looks like Amt - TOE, but most of the time it is a value that I cannot reconcile ... like 26 - 36 = 0)  Is this not yet fully implemented?

Thanks for a great tool.  Very useful.

PS: running 1.7.1 ...

But "Max Planes" is already a column in the table...

On the Device Screen, you have the following columns: Pool, Need, Used,Draw, ...

Pool = # devices available to be moved into a unit
Need = Total delta between TOE and actual unit device loads (?) Correct - we compute that
Used = game (month?, day?) usage of device (?) This comes from the save file, so it should be the Used So Far column from the Industry/Troops/Resource Pool window in the game
Draw = ??? Used from pool last turn - we compute that

It's fully implemented. It should always be the current turn's count - last turn's count

Duh, you mean to tell me that Max Planes is max planes? [:D] Please don't make it so confusing in the future. Try to obscure it a bit more ... [;)]

Hi Damien and floyd

In the ship display tab, under classes there are choices for LCI, LCI(R), LCI(G), and LCI(M). But no ships show up when any of the LCI(x) are chosen, they all show up when LCI is chosen.
