Morning gents, guest what... I'm in hospital, sitting on a hospital bed typing this out on my laptop. I have access fluid around my organs and stomach, which is not too serious in itself. But not much fun when they drain some off with a big needle.

I went to the my Doctor 2x days ago with swollen feet and lower legs, and ended up in hospital in our Provençal city. I think I'll stay away from my Doctor in future. So apparently I'm stuck here until they find the what is happening.

I hope the nurses are pretty, you have good internet access and you get lots of time with AE.

Am listening to "The Atrocity Archive" by Charles Stross. It seems to be a cross between Lovecraft and Dilbert; the main character is a computer geek who works for Britain's occult secret service, aka "The Laundry".

Oi! Unless you're soaking in a hot tub or the warm waters of the South Pacific, that's the only good fluid around your organs and stomach, mate. Get better soon!

Just a point of order, Per. Is spending time online with social deviants really "socializing"? Isn't it more "De-socializing" as in devolution? [:D]

@ Stuman: Nice new siggy. She'd look much better with a 53cm-torpedo-induced water column shooting a couple hundred feet in the air by her midsection, but I'm biased. [:'(]

[:D] ... Devolution? That would be Darwinism going backwards? That would mean us getting stupider the longer we hang around here ... [X(] ... No, that can't be the case [:'(][:D]

Now whip it
Into shape
Shape it up
Get straight
Go forward
Move ahead
Try to detect it
It's not too late
To whip it
Whip it good

Beer and hockey again. My team is trailing 1-2 after two periods. 20 minutes to go guys!!
Hmm ... my team led 2-1 after two periods ... but the evil ones managed to score in the 3rd ... [:'(][;)]

Oh yes [:D]

I moved to Stockholm just some 1.5 years ago. Before that I lived in Luleå for 44 years. I even had a LHF season card for ~15 years up until the mid-nineties.

Anyway, congratulations on the win, even if it felt like a robbery! [:'(][:D]

You live in Gävle?

This is my first, feeble attempt at such a thing. I have no clue what I am doing, so decided to go with a real picture I could cut down. Then decided to use a very simple description. Man do I have a lot to learn. This is all I could muster up during tax season. I will keep working on it [:)]

As an aside, I did a little research on the Tennessee's tour of duty. Sort of interesting how Art imitates life. She was awarded 10 Battle stars. She mainly supported ground troops one way or another, getting to blow the crap out of more than a dozen islands. She also participated in the Battle of Surigao Strait. And that is pretty much what my BB's do in my game, blow up stuff on land, and MAYBE get in a scrap with an enemy BB now and again [:)]

(2nd attempt to post this, wierd)

The Tennessee is my favorite BB from the ones sitting in Pearl Harbor on December 7, mainly because I was born in Savannah, Tennessee while dad was the historian at Shiloh battlefield. So guess what happened at the start of my PBEM against ChezDaJez? Yep, the Tennessee was the only BB sunk in his attack... [:(]
