Seems like it has been quite a while since we had a turn? Has Europe decided to concede to Sovie . . . erm, I mean "Russian" superiority?
I should hope not. I look forward the opportunity to unleash a can of whup arse on my foes. Our scientists have nearly perfected a new "Kalashnikov Muzzle Loader Carbine" that looks really sexy with cossack fur hats.

Hmm, lets see how that works against the new Otto Man beehive round-with the 6 ball clip. Although not perfected (problems finding powder men that are fast enough) it should be enough to quell your cossacks enthusiasm.
IW seems to be having major internet problems. I have not heard anything new in a few days. The wait continues.

Did they change the interwebs or something?
I was gonna go do my standard Google advanced image search with "sexy + cossack" but all the images I found were not readily copyable.

So, how long do we wait before we set in motion the replacement player options?
At this point, it seems it would be a damn shame not to play this one out. Even if it means having one of us play two positions or something.

RE: PBEM 109
Its been 17 days since Bill has communicated with us. Just how much longer it will be is anyones guess.
It would be a shame to have it end prematurely. We are better than 80% of the way there. I am sure that there were interesting end game strategies brewing- not to Turkey's benefit I'm sure.
I'm not sure if we can proceed with another player unless Bill sends the Spanish files. I still have everyone else's. If it is possible to proceed, then I think we should do it-but with an outside player. Of course, Bill should be welcomed back as Spain when he is ready.
Let's vote; do we look for a replacement player for Spain commencing on the 22nd of Jan?
Turkey-yea.

Well given it is 17 days, waiting a "couple more days" wouldn't seem to be a big deal. So I'm not opposed to giving him a few more days. But yeah,
Russia: yea.
If we have trouble finding a replacement maybe Prussia would be a good fill in?

I would not want Apretzo feeling limited in who he could conspire with-[;)]. It would be best if we could find an outsider.
I'll mail the other's to let them in on this.

Hi Guys;
Apologies apologies for not answering sooner. Read the email and told myself I must respond, but then promptly forgot. Prussia is still in this. As to taking over the Spanish as well, umm, not sure how ethical that would be, certainly the mighty Prussian Lion is more like a mangy house cat now, but having two nations under your control would be a little tought to battle temptation-wise.
Lets give Bill a bit longer, as we say, we've waited this long, and he has seen us all the way through this far.

No hurry Terje. We have another thing going on-also quite serious. Aprezto has been hit with an earthquake-for real. There are many fatalities-and his home internet is down.
