homage for Igard

Post by Data »

This is to let everyone know that my face (which I hope will go unstreched this time by the sona guy [:)]) is a great present from Igard....one which I'm proud to wear from now on.

I guess now I've become one of the race images in his mods [:D]

And here I was wondering when you find the perfect picture of Data to be used as avatar. Well, there you go. [:)]

Actually, when I first landed here I played with a dozen of pictures but never mastered the upload size restriction....and forgot completly about it.
Now I feel reborn and I thoroughly enjoy my face [:)]

And btw yours gave me a few ideas for a peleng one but this one is more appropiate.

Data with a beard?

The beard is you...

Looking good. [8D]

Bearded Data was awesome! Shame on Geordi and Deanna for laughing at him and getting him to shave. Shame! [:D]

EDIT: Just playing around. Had to create a new one for myself. By order of the Imperial Senate of course.

There was that one Peleng avatar I almost ended up using. The one with red, techy, hud "glasses". You probably know it. Definetly the best Peleng avatar.

Off-topic: I actually tried to play SR2: Reboot yesterday, but just couldn't get myself into it anymore. I know the game inside out (Heck, I've played it through over twenty times) and it just doesn't hook me to play as it did years back.
Oh well, it still has place amongst other "all-time classics".

EDIT: Agreed with Igard! Beards FTW!

Igard, you are a true artist my friend
J, I also remember all those shady peleng avatars...the one you have shows more elevation. [:)]

Next time you stop at a pirate base and consider a new one you should go for the Gaalian ones....you'll gain two more eyes as opposed to the single one plus cyberthing you have now [:D]

Gaalians are a bit too pacifistic for my tastes. Also, I rather use cybernetic implants than grow myself extra eyes. *shiwers*

Would love to have you beam over for a short leave of absence Data! Not certain how a
"hairy" face stretches......you can help me experiment at your convenience though!

As I remember, Starfleet Admiral Matthew Dougherty didn't fare so well (he had a beard!)

BTW, how much Romulan Ale did you ingest to get Igard to cooperate? [:D]

He exhausted my entire supply. He's an android after all.

Data, your avatar looks great and really suits you, but when you grow tired of it, just send me an image you want along with any text you want on it, and I'll rescale and edit it for you.

Same for anyone else. Just PM me with the image and any special instructions and I'll do my best with it. [;)]

You may regret this offer. You might end up not having time for mods, playing or anything else [:)]

Thats what happens when you hang out with Riker too much. You grow a beard and when you shave it, it wont go away.

My last game in the Space Rangers 2 Reboot isnt ending well, i only have 3 systems that are free and fighting the Dominators alone isnt nice even so i dont have much backup.
*That* is the exploration that awaits you. Not mapping stars and studying nebulae, but charting the unknown possibilities of existence.

I tried playing SR2 a few weeks ago and also couldn't get into it, even though I have great memories of playing it a few years ago. Oh well - as you say - a classic and loads of fun when I did play it. I'll probably give it another try in awhile.
