Game Crashes whenever I select a menu option

Just purchased the game and installed it. The opening logos work fine and the menu starts, but whenever I select a menu option (ie Begin New Game) the game quits, no error messages, it just quits. I'm running it on Windows 7 64bit. Any idea what I can do?

EDIT: Got it working! Seems that 1280X800 is too high a resolution for it to run at...which sort of sucks, but hey at least it runs.

Added support for changing screen sizes. This doesn't work while remote desktopping into another PC. I wasn't able to do anything good with the UI, but if you change the N to a Y it will change the screen resolution and will change it back when it's done.

ScreenY=600
ScreenX=800

I use a netbook, 19" flatscreen and it runs@1440x900 resolution. Have a look at the Opart 3.ini file and change it.
