Other WW1 Games

Post by Ralph1961 »

Its seems that WW1 is the play to game now. I really like GOA and I picked up WW1 gold over Christmas but haven't had the time to try it. I see that Battlefront has a WW1 version of Strategic Command. I downloaded the demo and plan to try it out. Has anyone her tried it? I am also looking forward to commander WW1, not sure about buying it though.

I don't like commander WW2 versoin - although I was a beta tester - IMO the substantive game is strictly beer & pretzels.  IMO SC was a bit better, but still had a lot of compromise to fit their non-stacking system that meant they had to do some strange things to make it work properly.

I'm not real optimistic for either WW1 version!
