Armored Utilization

Post by Beruldsen »

I've played a handful of scenarios now...and I'm really enjoying the game. I'm curious about what the best utilization of mechanized forces is. I thought I read somewhere that avoid combat and use to encircle and drive forward.

What do you all think?

quote "It was principally the books andarticles of the Englishmen, Fuller,Liddell Hart and Martel, that excitedmy interest and gave mefood for thought. These farsightedsoldiers were even thentrying to make of the tank somethingmore than just an infantrysupport weapon. They envisagedit in relationship to the growingmotorisation of our age, and thusthey became the pioneers of anew type of warfare on the largestscale.I learned from them the concentrationof armour, as employed inthe battle of Cambrai. Further, itwas Liddell Hart who emphasisedthe use of armoured forces forlong-range strokes, operationsagainst the opposing army's communications, and also proposed atype of armoured division combiningpanzer and panzer-infantryunits."

the game mirrors exploitation very well and that is key. Use your mechanized forces to attack supply.
