Trucks

Post by saygame »

Vehicles (Trucks) seem to be an ongoing logistics problem for both sides. The manual tends to indicate that vehicle attrition is based on movement points alone. Does that mean that railing units does (or does not) save on vehicle attirition (I'm thinkin that rail movement would save alot of wear and tear on vehicles carryin large numbers of supply and fuel dumps in Russia in particular)? I'm a little leary movin large Luftwaffe units with huge fuel and supply dumps even short distances.

The great truck killer is supply transport (which happens during the Logistics phase). I'd advise you to worry more about keeping low the amount of MP's between HQ's and railheads and between units and HQ's.

Uhm...what happened to the horses and wagons used for supply? I only see trucks.
