Brightness and Contrast

Post by mamnich24 »

Dear Guys,
How do the brightness and contrast settings work?
I noticed in fullscreen, lower resolution, I needed more brightness. It was set at 0.
I notice values given as possible are 0-1000. When I set value to 20, it was too dark, so I guessed it was only 20% of the 0 value. Next I set it to 120, thinking 120%, but it caused letters and symbols on the units to be poorly legible, and it caused the upper right unit screen to have a dark background. I set it to a couple higher numbers and the problem persisted, so I went back to the 0 setting.
Haven't fooled with contrast since I don't know how it's supposed to work.
Thanks for your help,
Mike

Mike,

never fiddled around with those settings, but you might give some of the graphic mods or Opart_3_fonts.ini a go. Better wait for an answer from uncle Larry. He's the fonts and geraphics uberdude.
