BOB - Worst Player Ever!

Folks,

I'd like to introduce myself, I'm the worst player ever on the 1940 or 41 campaign playing the germans. My lack of success in the game prompted my email here... Was is the best strategy to win as the Luftwaffe?

(1) Is the 1940 or 41 campaign easier to win?
(2) Should I take out the radar to open up a corridor for my bombers to hit the airfields?
(3) Does it make sense to bomb any idustry? If so, what? Should I foucs on aircraft, engine and avionics?

In the 1941 campaign I have bomb much of the radar on the coast, but have lost almost 150 planes in 3 days, to the RAF's 18!

I read through some of the AAR reports, but still at a loss... Any advice?

Dont worry, I once accidentally had a B26 strike route back over Cherbourg at about 10k ft and lost 80+ to FlaK

Your corridor only last until the bombers reach land, so use the lack of Radar to get the enemy fighters closer to the shore. that mean less time to react and also airfirleds that you can bomb [;)]

I would go for the engines, as the British and Germans, produce less engines than airframes and avionics.

Well, I wipe out that many Havocs, Mitchells or Marauders from time to time in fights against the AI (using my interceptors). These bombers are not really fragile.


Best is my Katwijk radar station trap, though: the AI's Typhoon IBs never bomb anything else, for once they recovered from 30-45% losses against Katwijk, the AI sends them against Katwijk again...
