Conflict of Heroes

since HOS is not going to happen, I figure that we should at least have a thread dedicated to COH. I can't seem to find any info about the PC version of COH. Please post and links / info here in this thread. Thanks!

If you go to the consim folder devoted to COH there is a short post by the game designer on the PC game. You could subscribe to the folder to keep track:

I immediately checked the message at the link and ...Oh...my...God!! I can't believe it's actually happening! Check the entire thread for a link to Boardgamegeek where they show some of the counters for the upcoming Pacific Theater COH boardgame. Can you imagine if the whole COH series was available for the PC? With AI and internet play?
It's really too bad that Walker dropped the ball on "Waiting for Stalingrad". He's gonna get lost in the dust.

well, this isn't filling up with posts like I thought it would. I wonder if there is an official forum for the PC version of CoH.

Because no one is looking at LNL anymore. If you post in the General Forums then it might get more response.

Don't think so, no forum and no screenies won't get you much attention.
At least a *bit* of info would be nice... /sigh.

Not at this time. The forum is private for the moment. That's about all I can say. Legalities seal my lips about any more details.

Does this mean it is time for bribes to be offered? Cows, loafs of bread, bottles of wine, cash...

i find it funny, sad and karmically correct that COH is being discussed in an LnL forum. i was heavily interested in HOS and sifted through the history in this forum. i don't mind the delays, but the target dates being way off and the lack of information on the part of matrix and mark is/has been appalling. i think we are better off, my sense is that if this game ever sees the light of day, we have a pretty good idea of how much post purchase support this game will see...little to none.

bring on COH!

That's a good point. I think it's a dead issue, but FWIW any game that has so little attention from the developer isn't going to be supported much, if at all, after it's release.

Memoir 44 on-line is getting constant updates and additions to the scenarios...and it's still considered to be in beta. Days of Wonder is obviously serious about the game and as a result it's well worth playing. I expect the same will be true of COH.
