So, I did a search on "two-person hot-seat" for PC and found this.

Can I do "two-person hot-seat" with PC? I play CM all the time with my two boys and want to start using PC.

Yes or No?

yes, if you click the arrow to the right of the very top field, it will cycle to Hotseatplayer1, and then to Hotseatplayer2.

Thanks

Rick,

Can you give me a more details on how to do it? Can I use Panzer Command: Kharkov or is this a new feature coming out for Ostfront?

I don't know if this is in PC: Kharkov or not. I never played PCK in Multiplayer mode.

As far as more details, Junk2drive probably knows this part of the game better than I do. He was the one who showed me how to to PBM in PCO.

If he misses this question, I'll give it a shot.

Thanks

The multiplayer post got stickied up above and I couldn't find it, lol

This is from that thread

HotSeat

Start the game with the configuration screen. Type a lower case name in the player box. Browse to your PBM folder within the PC install. Click Play. Select Multiplayer from the main menu. At the top right is an arrow. Use it to select PBM or HotSeat. Click until HotSeatGerman or HotSeatRussian appears. Enter a password and click New Game. Continue as above for PBM except when you return to the Multiplayer screen, click the top right arrow until the PLAY file appears. The player with the country shown at the top line now clicks the PLAY line, enters his password, and clicks Load Game.

Repeat these steps until the battle is finished.

The program will delete your old files so that you always see the latest two files. When the battle is over, go to your PBM folder and delete the opponent files for that scenario.

No, there is no true hotseat in PCO. You can do it but it takes a bit of work and it still trades files.

It works well between 2 computers not so well on a single machine. Something to look into for the next game.
