Maybe I'm just a perma-noob.
But none of the HUD3 scenarios work for me. I get constant file sig. mis matches.
Here comes a naive question...
What improvements are made in a database update, that is counterbalanced by the inability to play all the subsequently outdated scenarios?
I can't even get the accompanying modded scenarios to work either.

Which database version do you use? All those sscens work fine with HUD 3 V 1.5.0, the one which was included in the HUE release. Newer HUD3 version like the 1.5.5 from January, th, 2011, don´t work for me.

I loaded up 1.55 and downloaded the 10 associated scenarios.
But got the sig. mismatch error for all including the overwritten scenarios.
I'll try the re-save option.
Also Bucks gave a more complete answer to one of my earlier questions on this, so I'll try that also.
another noob question...
Why are the DB updates not backwardly compatible to earlier scenarios?

Please do not use 1.5.5. This one caused me a problem, too. Use 1.5.0 - the one included in the HUE release. This should work.

Regarding the backward compatibility...Darren aka Bucks should answer that. I´m no database guy, only a scenario writer.
