Razz,
Game crash Starting turn 2.
After abandoning Manila, (disbanding units and recall commanders)
saved game - okay
next game turn... crashed.
repeated this twice - same outcome.
please find attached consoleout.txt
[edit] (actually happens now regardless of unit moves)
...its not your scenario. I'm going to have to do a reinstall, something has gone screwy.

It'll be that bugger MacArthur screwing around again because he's not in charge.

Betcha a schooie! (Oh wait, you're in Melbourne, so that's "a pot")
For every action, there is an equal and opposite malfunction

Hopelessness

Post by Magpius »

1.05 has suffered a complete meltdown.
I have reinstalled the game, and cleared out registry editors for a complete clean.
Twice, and into new folder locations.
Every scenario, crashes after turn 1.
It plays head to head; but as soon as AI comes into the picture... black screen then crasho!

Original Install works, but 1.05 kills it dead.
No more SOP for me until this game goes to 1.06
If doom or anraz are reading this the console out text is as above, so please don't ask me to post it.

I did recently update some windows stuff via auto updater. Perhaps this has contributed.
@Razz, I wish it was only just an alt-tab issue, but this repeats regardless of windowed or full screen.
Cuts to black whenever the A.I is about to have a turn and crashes. It plays fine H2H. This is about the AI dealing with windows issue and it's really broken.
Anraz I look forward to the fix.

[:D]
I think the crash stemmed from trying to window the game so I could type up the report text.
...and yeah dem teeth are SHARP!
aarrrr to follow soon.

'alt-tabbing' does seem to sometimes grind the game to a halt and kill it, but the reloading of the scenario does work.
It just makes screen grabs a little more risky.

You can go into preference and change the amount of CPU usage.
Also, task manager does the same thing.
