Research bonus / Neutron star

Hi guys,

yesterday I started to construct a research facility next to a Neutron star. But then I noticed the message above the selection panel saying "no research bonus".

Now the manual says a research station near a Neutron star MAY get a research bonus. So it also may NOT? Or am I missing something?

Select the neutron star on the map and you should see if it has bonuses in the bottom-left screen. Sometimes neutron stars and black-holes won't give you any bonuses. Has happened to me many times.
