MH 2 is on sale for another 27 hours at GG for 10 bucks. I received an email notification from GG of a sale just last night-this could mean that the game has been on sale at this reduced rate (from 39.99)since yesterday. The normal cost at Matrix is 39-which is the current price as there is no sale ongoing.

Should Matrix Games match other companies sales whenever those pop up? Should they only match some other companies sales in an effort to placate some, eh, critics or competitors shills? What if the other company does not reciprocate in kind-should MG continue with providing cut rates? Would that be unfair? Perhaps a Matrix sock puppet can go to the other developers site and ask why they are selling a game at full price when MG has the game on sale.

Actually, there is no need to answer the above questions as those are quite foolish-as is the original question.

We often run promotions with all our digital partners.  The game was discounted here when it first launched.  The price on Gamers Gate was a special two day offer, not a regular price.
