Wide Screen Help Needed

Long time reader and player, first time poster.

Totally computer illiterate.

I just got a new computer with a widescreen (1366x768). After installing the game, the screen is stretched. I am trying (unsuccessfully) to follow instructions to set the command instructions. But I can't find the Start Menu to the game. There appears to be no such thing in my Matrix Games/ WITP-AE folder. I must be doing something wrong.

Can somebody please point an illiterate to the right place?

Go to your Windows Start button (in Win 7, should be the first button on the left at the bottom of your desktop screen). Click it and amongst the programs which should appear on the list, you should see:

War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition (Quick Start)

Right click that and open the "Properties". The command switches are added in the target field. The readme which precedes the patch notes provides details on the various command switches which you can use.
