Toggle for viewing Engineer units

Post by Sprocket62 »

A toggle for viewing all of the engineer units on the map would be a nice feature to add in a future patch. Like the toggle for headquarter and artillery units. These units are of great value in repairing bridges and crossing rivers etc... It would be great to see where they all are before making a move. I try to keep these units near a headquarters unit but they can still get lost in the clutter.

As a rookie player, the capabilties of engineer units is a "discovery". They're ability to save a unit movement points when crossing various terrian features like rivers is very important. I'm starting to protect them almost as much as artillery or HQ units. Since everything is linked in some way to movement points, every point. counts :) Hopefully not much of a code change.
