We had all kinds of stuff to play with. Coarse/fine synchro chains connected to a 4.5in Mk5 gun turret, dropped and replaved a breech block on 4.5 Mk6, paralleling generators (even did that on the Galatea at the tender age of 18). Oh yeah, Seacat directors too.

Dodged a bullet last night. 20 miles to the south 12" to 20" of new white stuff. Here .7". Whew! That was close.[8D]
