question regarding re-use .....

I have an AE directory for my primary game and have enjoyed using WitpTracker for many turns .... Started a new game and copied the entire directory to a new one to keep the games separated. Modified the *.properties files to look in the correct/new location. Question I have is I want to wipe out the old data and only read in new data. Keep getting messages for turn read that "Turn 3" has already been read in ..... listing up to turn 47 which is where the "other" game was at. So how can I "zero" out turn data to start anew ?

Also, though this is the right forum location, have the same question regarding CombatReporter. Same type of problem ....

Thanks in advance.

You'll need to delete all the files which begin with trackerdb.* and reinitialize.
Good luck

worked like a champ .... thanks ...

Hi guys could someone please take a look at what the ship upgrade screen shows?
Look what is listed as changes and what is on the compare screen.

Image

Radar is correct but there is no change in any gun and what is missing is the change of the armor(0 to 2) for the 5in/25 Mk 10 guns although I don't know if that is really worth showing.

Any help with this please ?

Had tracker running fine , left it an hour and tried to open it again and got this message

This is a bug with the program building the global history supplies including LCU's ... not sure if Floyd has nailed this one down since last release ... please send us the game save before and after to witptracker@gmail.com

Found the bug - just need to fix it.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

You probably already realize this but just in case... What could be confusing tracker is there are multiple entries of the same device on the same facing.

Maybe the Tracker should also check the armor.
In my example the extra entries for the single 5inch are only because those mounts have no armor where the others have 5 armor.

A starnge error message that I have not had before.

'Could not find appropriate day in SigInt file <C:\Matrix Games\ WitP AE\Save\asignt.txt>.'

Could it be something to do with the game date? Its now the 29th Feb 1944.

Yeah, it could be that. Are you playing 1-day turns or multiple?

It's likely the Feb 29th thing. Looking at the code I seem to have hard-coded 28 days in February... [X(]

Yes, I now see the errors of my ways. Fixing will take some careful thought and the well is dry right now... maybe tomorrow.

IIRC CSV Export -> Industry -> Overview details

But that won't give you airframes or am I looking at the wrong thing here. what is IIRC?

I wanna know what Airframes are at what factories to start. I think the Overview details gives you everything but.
And whilest on that subject, are you still planning to add that to that part of tracker?
thanks
Another thought, is there anyway, while trying to export any info via CSV, that you can add another tab to sort by? (for some of the bottom pop up screens, they are very vaulable.)

Just tested it and it gives airframes (look at the bottom)... adding what to Tracker - just csv of airframe factories?

...
Not yet ... but I'll tell you a quick and fast way for now (even though it is in the Overview_details_Ind.csv. )

In the AC Prod (top) click totals (bottom row)

Then in the details pane (below) click and hold the mouse highlighting all the rows. Ctrl-c to copy; open Xls and Ctrl-V to paste ... voila ;-)

Cheers hope this helps
