Historicalness aside...

Question about historicalness (did I invent a word there?) versus good game play.

I think historical airgroups are probably fairly accurately represented in the game, but there's an old thread on the board about Corsairs everywhere, what do you do with them all. Historical or not, are there too many airgroups for convenient play?

Obviously some people think so concerning the Corsairs. Any others? Heavy bombers? IJN land based single engine aircraft, especially dive and torpedo bombers?

Its been observed by my opponent in my current game who is playing Allies that airgroups can exist but not be combat ready for a variety of reasons not simulated in the game.
