The work you did on the German Welle TO&E's has been entered into the TOAW TOE project (your permission is assumed as you posted it here, but feel free to say 'yes'!). Do you have anything on the welles after the 15th ? I noticed Niehorster doesn't list them, but Axis History mentions up to a welle 29.

Just discovered this: http://www.btinternet.com/~ian.a.paterson/ - History of the Br. 7th Arm Div in WWII. A lot of info about various Regiments that were subordinated to the Division during the war.

Btw, i hate doing British TOEs in TOAW..especially when it comes to Reconaissance Regiments and all kinds of Armour Stuff. And especially when it's in the not so good documented Italian Theatre...

The worst of the British is that they were endlessly drawing up TO&E's -- that were never implemented. Deviating from the theoretical TO&E was a universal tendency, but the British were worse than most. One site that at least attempts to work out what actually happened in practice is http://www.bayonetstrength.150m.com/

Boonierat's OOB was in the old COW format, it messed up formations when i loaded it into TOAW III. So, i converted it by loading the OOB into the COW editor, saving it as a COW scenario, loading the scenario into TOAW III and exporting the OOB.

There are three files in the .zip: A scenario file, the .OOL file, TOAW's internal format, and the .oob file which is the xml variant of the oob.

Yeah -- this will be of immediate use. The Indian army, though, seems to be lacking as usual.

The page has been updated September 2010 the last time, but it might be worth to check regularily as the author states: "I hope that it will be a work in progress as more and more information is gathered [...] I have changed the format from my previous site so that they accurately show the original documents. I am currently about a third of the way through this task. so the site will be updated on a regular basis for some time to come."
