That dog either is really overweight or needs its thyroid checked for a goiter! [X(] [:'(]
Nah, it's not too bad. They're called dewlaps, rtrapasso. Loose folds of skin commonly found in the neck region of some breeds of dogs. Just because it's some dangly bit on the dog doesn't mean it's fat or has a goiter.
Maybe -but that dog looks really overweight... perhaps it is solid muscle, but i'm betting not. [:D]

My neighbor has one of those brutes... trust me its NOT fat! Moose (his real name) is about 120 lbs and decides when HE wants to get out of the yard... by lowering his head and ramming the fence! I don't have the words to do justice of the explosion a wood fence makes while morphing into matchsticks when he does this.

I also had the pleasure of him deciding to "get" my dinner plate at an outing one night. I'm 6'3" and over 300lbs and he hip checked my legs right out from underneath me... by the time I got to a sitting position my "dinner" of a 1/4 lb cheeseburger and two hot dogs were just a slobbery memory as he GRINNED at me! (yes I'm an animal lover - but he is just unstoppable!) He looks very similar to the pix of the dog so beware if you actually see one Sadly Moose's owner does NOT look anything like the Hot Babe in the pix though![:D]

Well, i am very familiar with Rotties (Rottweilers)... this one still looks overweight. Of course, they say the camera adds 20 pounds, but then we need to know exactly how many cameras this beast swallowed.

Dew laps are OK on Rottweilers, but they don't look good on women.

I think there was a 50's song were the backup singers sang "dew lap, dew lap". I think it was the Roundels or the Shylarks or something like that.

Marines for bait again? Where is "Howling Mad" or " Chesty" when you need some REMFs booty kicked? But if it works out it can be another nice page in the recruiting brochure.

Doesn't that also put them behind, in front of and next to ours too?

Yes, quite. We will be in a position of mutual athwartness. The idea is to get 25-50K supplies ashore, a Rgt of Marines, a Marine Def Bn and engineers ashore and build fast. The carriers will have to provide air cover for 2d..maybe 3. I have some naval support chaps to fly in by PBY first.

Let's say it works and an airfield is established, I will allow there will still be issues:

1) Zeroes may sweep every day from Lunga and we will end up with an air attrition battle.

2) JJ may start a naval bombardment shuttle toward Rossel

3) They may get really bothered and send 2 divisions to retake the island.

All of these options require Jap resources that cant be used somewhere else.

In the absence of an offensive action, JJ will fortify their perimeter and SoPac has substantial resources sitting on their thumbs perhaps untilt he APA's are ready and we can go after atolls.

If you give the thumbs down, I can just do a carrier raid to the northern Coral Sea and could even send the troops embarked around to help in SOW?
One of the serious problems in planning the fight against American doctrine.... is that the Americans do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligation to follow their doctrine

Fling

Post by Cap Mandrake »

I stopped getting emails for "Meet Christian Singles in Your Area" and now am getting emails from some dating site called "Fling" with a title like "3 girls in your area want to send you nude pictures".

Apparently they consulted a marketing type who advised a more brash approach. I considered clicking on it but I am pretty sure Stalker Girl figured out how to use the "history" button on Firefox.

I don't think "bait" is quite fair. Honestly, it was the mayor of Wellington who first asked for the deployment of the Marines.

"History"? As in, 'You would be history if Stalker Girl found out you clicked on that link'? [;)]

These, however, are quite nice on women. [:'(]

Well, on the chest region... not so much on the abdomen.

Drop Kick Me Jesus Through
The Goalposts Of Life

Song from Bobby Bare Greatest Hits, Bareworks Inc.
Words and music by Paul Craft.
CD, BWCD-040292

Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life
End over end neither left nor to right
Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights
Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life.

Make me, oh make me, Lord more than I am
Make me a piece in your master game plan
Free from the earthly tempestion below
I’ve got the will, Lord if you’ve got the toe.

Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life
End over end neither left nor to right
Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights
Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life.

Take all the brothers who’ve gone on before
And all of the sisters who’ve knocked on your door
All the departed dear loved ones of mine
Stick’em up front in the offensive line.

Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life
End over end neither left nor to right
Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights
Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life.

Yeah, Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life
End over end neither left nor to right
Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights
Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life.

WitP-AE -- US LCU & AI Stuff

Oddball: Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

"End over end neither left nor to right"

I forgot about that part...sounds vaguely and annoyingly middle of the road [:D]

Inspired lyrics though.

Yeah, that's more diplomatic than "recipients of mutton-headed orders". I'll go with what he said.

"recipients of mutton-headed orders".

Isn't that everyone who isn't commissioned?
