Frist Winter Question

Post by DivePac88 »

I have a question on German winter equipment for the winter of 1941/42;

It is my understanding from my extensive reading on the Russian Theatre. That OKH had sufficient winter clothing/equipment to outfit 60 divisions, and was stored in Germany. But that because of the demand for supply/ammunition/ POL for the ‘Typhoon’ offensive. Then the drastic supply situation on the Eastern Front after the weather and Russian counter-attacks set in. But that there was no logistical capacity to bring this equipment forward.

Now my question is this situation modelled into the game if the unit is full supply, and has been in a fortified position for some time. My meaning is that if the Germans had forgone ‘Typhoon’, and had moved into winter quarters, and the winter equipment had been moved forward.
