If you want to pay less taxes you should make more money. At least I think that's how it works. [&:]
i'd like to pay more tax , if so [:(][8|][;)] (the pay of a french fonctionnary very widly between those at the top and.....the pesky stupid ones like me doing the work at the bottom of the ladder....)
I think you already pay enough. And the jury is still out on what would happen if the US had France's taxation levels. [:D]

Well, to be fair to Brooklyn, they don't have as many sand dunes to hide the bodies in. Finding 8 (or is it 9 now) in a quarter mile of sand dune/ brush along a highway is tremendously creepy. Particularly on a per capita basis for LI.ORIGINAL: Onime No Kyo

Seemed like a nice enough place (at least the Eastern parts) when I was visiting Plum Island a few years back. Was that just the 'touristy' area? Are there just 'bad' neighborhoods there? [&:]ORIGINAL: Onime No Kyo

Um...Onime....don't you live on Long Island?

It wasnt me, if thats what youre asking.
Jokes aside, LI is not a terribly safe place to live in spots. Its not the Bronx, but.....
No, I wouldn't call Plum Island the "touristy" area... most of us want to avoid that plade like the plague! Oh, right, we are avoiding the plague when we avoid Plum Island... [:'(]
Yes, the eastern end of LI is the vacation area - weekend and summer homes for the Manhattan elites. They allow a few worker bees to inhabit the area, just as long as they don't expect to be included in any of their elitist parties
I spent a summer captaining a private sailboat in the area. Sailed out of Sag Harbor for the most part.
fair winds,

Went to a club in the Hamptions once. We quickly realized that even if we could get any of the heiresses to give us the time of day, we couldnt afford the first date. [:D]

It wasnt a cougar kind of a place. there were a few girls who looked like their dads own things listed in the Forbes 500. There were also quite a few girls who were there to fish for the sons of people who own things listed in the Forbes 500. And we were certainly not getting any of that. [:D]
