Who is winning?

This is one of those games that you wish you could look in on.

Question to the esteemed panel...have any of you played the reluctant Admiral and how did you like it?

One of the serious problems in planning the fight against American doctrine.... is that the Americans do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligation to follow their doctrine

Hi Gabede,

Well, of course, we're winning. BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZ...kaf kaf kaf! That third one always gets my larynx... [;)]

We're ahead in points-as is to be expected of the Japanese in April 1942. The Allies have fought very skillfully to date and I think it's a good match.

I know that Mynok and I are bad at keeping up on our AAR. It's so time consuming that I don't know how anyone does it well. We've only really managed brief updates a few times a month, unfortunately. Thanks for the reminder though-I'll try to get one in this weekend.

Haven't played the reluctant admiral. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the 'what if' OOBs that are out there. I'm a stock sort of guy. I can't speak for the other hooligans, lunatics and malefactors in this 2x2 AAR though.

Well, of course, everything the Japs say is just propaganda!  The Allies are winning!  [:D]

Actually, I second Chickenboy's assessment that this is a good match.  We're all having fun, which is what counts.  The Allied side's AAR has been a bit delinquent with regular updates.  I also will try to get ours updated this weekend.  Time for gaming is precious, and what I have is first spent on the game.  You can find the Allied side here:

tm.asp?m=2593739

Wow, it hasn't been updated since 3/10, but that's still 3 weeks more recent than the Space Chickens.  [:'(]

As for the RA mod, I have not played nearly enough to get familiar with the stock scenarios, so I couldn't form an opinion on what's even different from stock.  [:D]

Pretty good. I've had no problems in either hotel ethernet or wifi mode. And of course my last 2 turns have used it.
