RE: THE THREAD!!!
Morning tithe... 3 more days to go until 10 days of me-time, and the hospital seems intent on making them TOUGH...[:@]

[:D] My wife commented that it smacked eerily of 'Bladerunner'. My only question when I saw this (and them 'sleeping' was, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" [;)]ORIGINAL: stuman

Cool! [8D]
Their house is waay to neat and tidy.
And the dad is too wide awake and cheerful in the morning.
And the kids seems to be ready for school on time.
That is a robot family.
Bladerunner was the first thing I thought of when watching this. Alright time to put on my slobstopper bib and drink coffee with a loose cap in a parking lot while leering at chicks.

Keeping the THREAD safe from (other people's) Fabers. It is I, Chickenboy. For tonight, farewell unfeathered denizens of Earth.![]()
This begs the question. Do you sleep with the feathered denizens? And if so, how does your wife feel about that? [:D]

Hi all,
At work (we deal with this disaster stuff professionally) we got another Tsunami movie (5 min) from Japan... this time it showed people actually being swallowed... just terrible... shocking... [:(]
Leo "Apollo11"
P.S.
It appears that this movie already got to YouTube... I think that, most likely, it should not be allowed for general public... [:(]

On 9/11 there was live TV feed of people jumping to their deaths, rather than burning in the towers. I remember thinking "that's a lot of paper that's been blown out of a window". Then I realized the white shape was a human being.

RE: THE THREAD!!!
There were also the cameras/reporters on the ground and in the background you here the bang of the bodies hitting the ground. Terrible to think that someone would have to make a decision to end their life from heat/smoke inhalation or leaping out of a window.

On a side note this is my first new page in The Thread. Too bad it was a depressing one. "Mighty is the thread..."

RE: THE THREAD!!!
One more and back to work.
A drunken Irishman is driving through the city of Dublin and his car is weaving violently all over the road.
A cop pulls him over.
"So," says the cop to the driver, "where have you been?"
"I’ve been to the pub," slurs the drunk.
"Well," says the cop, "it looks like you’ve had quite a few."
"I did all right," the drunk says with a smile.
"Did you know," says the cop, standing straight and folding his arms, "that a few miles back, your wife fell out of your car?"
"Oh, thank heavens," sighs the man. "For a minute there, I thought I’d gone deaf."
