AT Gold AI FoW?

So its out Congrats!
Anyways I was wondering whether the AI in ATG is subject to the same FoW rules as the player. Can the AI see through the shroud?

Never really thought that about that but I'm pretty sure that it cannot. I have noticed that the AI will build up on your borders so you may want to be sure you have enough recon to detect that. I had a rude awaking in one test game when I discovered the AI had a big Army poised at my border and then declared war on me. Needless to say I lost a bit of territory before I manage to blunt the AI offensive.

The manual has a list of advantages given to the AI by default, but does not mention the ability to see through the Fog of war.
