Holidays = UV

Post by Bradman »

I don't know about you guys, but I am on holidays in 13 days. That means I'll be playing UV for 18 odd hours a day (my partner is flying north for a week or two).

Supposed bugs and all, this is the best, and most lasting game I have played since Carriers at War, which I've had since C64 days.

Even version 1 of UV was good enough for me to play and play for hours. Every version is only an improvement.

Soon I'll take on a human opponent and I'm sure this great game will become even better.

Bring on my weeks off.........

I'm studying to be a teacher so I'll have roughly 3 1/2 months off each year:) Oh happy days.....

I'm off starting on Dec. 20th. I will look for someone to play with that can do turns back and forth all day long. I only take about 5 minutes to plot my orders and about 5 to view the battles so I figure we could do about 3 turns an hour. Multiply that by 8 hours, times say 6 days and you've got... 144 turns. That's almost 5 months of UV time. Wow! Now I am really looking forward to my vacation.
