Stauffenberg scenarios

Post by Raver508 »

Does anyone have any ideas whether Daniel McBride is still working on upgrading his scenarios for the latest patch? Its been a long time since I heard anything and he had some good stuff in the old days.

Sorry, Big Guy, not gonna happen........

McB isn't working a bit on ANY of his scenarios, and isn't really answering emails, so I can't tell you when he will, eh?

Sux!

Wong, wrong, wrong!!!

Me & an opponent of mine whom I managed to acquire here are getting ready to play his Indopak ( operation "Enduring Freedom" plus hypothetical Indian - Pakistani War ) so I dared to inquire whether that one is going to work properly under the newest patch - after all that was only and still is aplay test version at the Rugged Defense site. I wrote him a message and he promptly answered in some hour or two at worst. Albeit that was a short reply it was nevertheless absolutely formative.

Dunno if we is working on aything though - I didn't ask, but a couple of month ago it was announced at the site that he and a companion of his are reworking the Drang nacht Osten scenario ...

Yeah, I understand ... Well, unless that was somebody else emulating him in a definitely not the funniest way possible - using his e-mail adress which would be illegal if I can remember well - I am perfectly sure that I got a reply. What was the address then? I am absolutely sure that when I first sent my message at the address covered in the readme .pdf document attached to the copy of the scenario, it bounced off immediately. So I must have found an alternative one - I think it was somewhere at the Rugged Defense site or at least I was redirected from there to his Stauffenberg scenarios section where I might have found that other address of his.Yup, most definitely. As soon as he answered, I let my opponent know that we are good to go in terms of the technical details s we should not bother too much any longer. So provided I was not malignant ... Pardon my sarcastic tone if that may be the case You read it, it's truly not my real purpose, I just realized that it might be taken as such.[:)]

Didn't you change your e-mail adress recently (a streched recently...)? I remember i had your old and you gave me your new one for the Anzio@2km playtest. So maybe your new e-mail adress could fall victim to an agressive spam filter?
