Somebody said they like binocular view. My round going out, enemy round coming in. Shortly after, my tank is dead.

Junk2drive is smart! He blacked out his minimap so I didn't see his units sneaking up on me!

Thanks!

Question for you...

When playing, I always get a sick-feeling when that view appears, assuming that the AFV in question will be knocked-out. However, that doesn't always occur. What am I missing, feedback-wise, such that the "consequences" aren't consistantly applied to my friendly?

I turn off the kill camera. If something seems interesting I tab to the commander view and rewind. Then zoom in and out as desired.
The kill camera feature is only supposed to happen if something gets killed.

I do the exact opposite.

I view the game as displayed, 3D-RT, and then don't look back.

One way or the other, is this feature WAD?

That's a real question btw, not an accusation.[;)]

I also turn off my kill camera. Especially now that you can shift-click on destroyed msg in the msg box, and the turn will center on the unit and rewind to about 3-5 seconds before the kill.

I just finished a game where I was exchanging shots with an enemy tank for one phase - I counted three shells, two missed and 1 hit the hull and bounced off, I think the next phase I did get the kill though. at least one of his hit mine and caused track damage.

thanks
rick

But what is WAD?

Thanks
rick

I've seen the thread regarding the half-tracks.  Thanks.  Any screenshots out there for the Soviet motorized vehicles?

That's what J2D was telling you. Nobody has done a mod for the Soviet HT's yet. They just have tank riders and trucks at this point.

Good Hunting.

That is what I'm looking for. I am of the understanding that the Soviet troops rode piggy back on the tanks. I'm looking for trucks, both Soviet and German. What other motorized vehicles in the game for both sides can you show us?

Mobius,
That is the famous statue of the children dancing around an alligator in the center of the screenshot, right? I can just make out the dancing figures. Very nice, by the way.

Im glad you guys put plane models in PKO. They make it more... immersive. What Russian city is that by the way?
