Viet Nam History/Scenario Reference

Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. TOAW3 is updated and enhanced version of the TOAW: Century of Warfare game series. TOAW3 is a turn based game covering operational warfare from 1850-2015. Game scale is from 2.5km to 50km and half day to full week turns. TOAW3 scenarios have been designed by over 70 designers and included over 130 scenarios. TOAW3 comes complete with a full game editor.

Viet Nam History/Scenario Reference

Those of you interested in the Viet Nam War for history and/or scenario building, will find this web page fascinating. Will probably take a couple of days to read through the site. Might even find some words about the Rhino Dets.

BTW - Haven't been around much, but I did see that there is still discussion about hex-side vs hex-in rivers. From what I read today the argument for hex-in rivers sounds just as absurd as it did five years ago.

Great stuff. Our local public library is filled with Vietnam War books that are more about politics (with some justification). Precious few if any strictly military histories, though. This website is a gold mine of useful information about the War. Thanks for the link.
