ROTS 1.5.0.8 Escorts Without fuel stuck at low speed on mass

It's me again.

I just keep finding bugs. It's this one game I'm playing there everywhere.

I recently placed a build order for over 30 escorts & 30 frigates via the build order screen.

They now appear on map looking to refuel at my resupply ship 7 in my home system. Which is one square away.

The trouble is around 30 ships are moving at speed 10. I have found some and told them to refit to break the cycle. I will probably not be able to find them all.

I think the problem is Resupply 7 was sent for retrofit and all the escorts etc are still stuck on MUST REFUEL AT RESUPPLY 7.

I then selected Resupply 7 and told it to deploy at the Gas Giant. It then began to immediately deploy at my home planet. BUG.

I moved then deployed RS7 at the gas giant and the slow ships never reset cos RS7 was now a valid fuelling point.

So to break the invalid automated command I have to find each affected ship (it's at least 30) and then select refuel/retrofit to break the invalid command.

Edit: When looking through the military ships list in the empire navigation tool the affected ships are older and have been active for years.

I have uploaded the save to the server it's called ''Escorts without fuel and at stuck at low speed ROTS 1.5.0.8 2865-08-24''.

Oh and the ''Ultimate Enemy'' has turned up. They went to war with a monster and a middle weight. They lost a colony but the capital was never taken.

First session after immediately saving and providing this bug report.

I had over 50 plus ships to re-order to not refuel at the undeployed Resupply Ship 7.

I selected them on mass with a swipe selection?? then told them to refuel.

They then displayed ''Refuel at ...(blank)''

Not trusting this I then had to click on the refuel button then reautomate. Hotkey R didn't work.

I spent about 45 minutes on this re-ordering and double checking via the ships and bases screen.

REALLY not funneee.

And you're surprised you're almost the only one uploadig saves....I lost count on how many bugs you managed to uncover for this alone.
If this would have been my first impression of DW I would have considered it broken. Hope they all get fixed soon.

I come from the War in the East & War in the Pacific Admirals Edition forums. I enjoy great games which just need some adjusting.

You should see how many patches those games have, although they have 3 times the staff.[;)]
