1.04.11 Beta - Vechicle production fix

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

1.04.11 Beta - Vechicle production fix

Post by Helpless »

It usually takes quite a bit of time to upload official beta, so I decided to upload a quick fix for the vehicle production, which looks as a serious long term issue.

tm.asp?m=2790331

- Fixed vehicle production.
- Factory size can get increased during reallocation. Fixed.

As said this is still beta - handle with care :)

Happy Easter!

Edit: Since it is not using the installer it will appear as 1.04.10 Beta on the top, but installed exe will be shown as 1.04.11 on the main menu.

What problem is this fixing? Is it a new bug introduced by 1.04 beta, or something older?

thanks you, i have it installed, thanks for the fast fix and extra work set on this, best greetings, i just want to make this post with one extra advice, aside of the congrats for the fast fix...

i set on one of my mods (not maked public because of changes in the generic data files (mainly all soviets brigade units upgrade auto to divisions in some time from them setup), i dont make it public as i know it will affect -All- scenarios, not only my scenarios, and i dont want to screw installs,

on the subject that i want to make advice, please... i set in my mod all pools on berlin and moscow (germany and soviet union respectively) at 99.999.999 but still some factories dont get his supply for making his aircraft, ground elements, and so on, i dont know if that is a desired feature, and this is because i want to write on it, well, i guess, with this pool all factories should get his conventional supply type for some months and that is not happening, also, if some factories are restricted or simply adding to berlin/moscow pool dont make it available for the full theather of operations, i are not against it, just i dont know if these factories are or not working as desired with my extra pool,

thanks for any and all advice, and again, thanks for the fast fix,

have my best regards and please keep up the good work/support as now for this game,

Alarick.

As said before, we plan to allow locking generic data in scenario file.

It takes some time to move those supplies to the locations which require production. Scenario designer may fasten this process by running "SET ALL CITY SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS" - it should add all missing supplies and resources to the locations.
