The Agony of Defeat

Post by Aolain327 »

Well, been getting my head handed to me by some really great players.

Good news is, nothing teaches better than failure.

As I have said before, great game.

As some have said, go after the Red Army, kill it, spatter it, destroy it....terrain means nothing next to rubbing out the pernicious Reds.

You actually were starting to do much better towards the end of our game. Your early pockets were pretty non existant so I had a huge Soviet army to play with.

It actually was great practice for me since I didnt have a lot of Soviet experience.

Was a fun game!

To add to Ketza, you learned quickly that Germans can't do in '42 what they can and should do in '41 and adjusted accordingly.

The ability to learn is all. Keep at it and you will soon be a good player. Studying forums helps speed that up that learning too.
