Well where is everyone?

Just back from the airport in Concord, NC.

My little boy flew a freaking helicopter today! [X(] He loved it, and the instructor was great with him. Even better, Sara was much better about it than she though she would be. I might be able to pursue my private pilot's license one day yet. [8D]

Hi CB. After the best part of thirty years with the same bank, i was made redundant
in January [:(]. Sector i worked in was essentially in run-off mode. Fortunately, one of the two majority state-owned banks is still hiring in a similar sector to that I have worked in for the last decade or so, and they offered me a job just before my holiday - good timing or what?

Can't believe the temperature in Florida has been so high at this time of year - we found it a bit of a struggle to cope with 90+ temps [8D]. I don't know how people work in those temps on a daily basis, but good to see Mickey Mouse and friends seem to be able to take it in their stride [;)]
