I'm working on it. I've spliced together all the action for 10 game minutes and now working on the narrative to explain what is going on as you aren't seeing my orders.

Thanks for the video. I think J2D did a great job on the sounds.

Wow, we totally play PC differently. How about maybe just a few seconds of bino view of when a armored unit kills another, or perhaps a quick bino view from a squad advancing into the mess.

I would not mind seeing the close combat/hand to hand in that one house a lilttle zoomed in. I could see some small explosions, but would like to see the new graphic sequence for hand to hand.

Hello:

Thanks for the VAAR. However, I am not sure it highlighted the improvements in PCO? Maybe show a summer scenario so that the improved terrain and vehicle models can be highlighted. Might to be better to just post snippets rather than a full VAAR? Where you could choose some close-ups to highlight certain features.

Thanks,

Gerry

When the Demo is released, it will have a summer map/battle.

thanks

Would you be disappointed if I told you there is no grand Hollywood animation for hand to hand combat?

Sorry but it is still abstracted. The troops are kneeling, shooting and throwing grenades. And some yelling. Nothing to get excited about.

thank you my friend, I really enjoyed the AAR. that mg unit on the right sure put up a fight. I do like the fact that the fire fights do last a couple of turns.

looking forward to more vids when you do have the time.

No disappointment here. Thanks for the video. It looks like it plays very different from PCK. I am impressed. Even with the trees showing, had no problem seeing what was happening. With all that infantry rushi9ng around, I want more then ever the infantry combat model updated.

Thanks, John.
I tried to show what can happen using realistic tried and true tactics of fire and manuever, suppression then close assault.
And it worked.
Kept my infantry casualties fairly low while taking the objective.

agreed, I would like to see a little more eye candy when it comes infantry. i know it doesn't add to game-play as we are wargammers and not xbox and ps3 click-festers but sometimes I just feels good to see improve infantry animations.

Very cool video and nicely done [:D]

Thanks for not bouncing the camera all over like the recent ones at BF.

Did I see tracers passing through buildings or was it the angle of the camera that did it? What are the rules on rounds passing through/hitting walls and how are they displayed?

My first attempt at a video. Fraps free 30 seconds. I have a nice avi file that I converted to wmv. Then it looks blurry and pixelated.
My squad is in the woods. I see Soviet troops and tanks. We exchange fire. I tab to commander view. Incoming tracers and HE. I zoom in to see the Soviet tank commander order fire on my position. The round hits and my squad goes to ground.
