Defend vs withdrawl

Post by Fred98 »

In Withdrawl mode defence factor = Defence x 1.25

In Defence mode defence factor = Defence x 1.00

So a unit's defence factor is higher in Withdrawl mode than in Defence mode ??

Is that right?

Of course, he will be forced to withdraw several hexes. Seems okay at 1.25, maybe rear guard and all...

Don't get too excited now and start to withdraw every unit just because you THINK it may increase some stats or save some units. To withdraw takes quality checks, some luck, and so on. Personally, I've found them to be a gambit and I prefer just to stick things out unless my situation really looks hopeless.
