Leader Stats Program

Is there a program out there that will pull out the stats for your leaders from a save game file (version 4.4)? Seems like it would be a handy thing to have when deploying your units pre-battle and when you have to adjust your original plan after the enemy got involved

None that I know of Striker. You can of course, right click on each leader during the deploy phase of any battle and see just what he might be worth in a battle.

Well, then does anyone know who would happen to know the "structure" of a save game file? If I could get this, I could program the viewer myself.

"Fred's Editor" lets you sort of do that - not sure if its what you want

Used Fred's editor in my USMC campaign to create an engineer company. Since it wasn't offered, bought a section and 4 platoons. Then used editor to change rank of section "0" unit to Captain. Now, chain-of-command works (platoon fails 2ndLt rally, moves on to Cpt).

Also useful to change suppression amounts, leadership ratings, experience, etc.

Only problem is you have to have a save game to use it. Wish you could do this from unit selection screen, but....I can live with it.
