J HG T, to change the super AI mod race.txt file to work with Diverse Worlds race.txt file, all you need to do is edit the 10th entry on each line of the super AI race.txt to match that of Diverse Worlds race.txt.

If you look at the first of the 2 entries, they are the same, but the third entry reads 18 in Diverse Worlds and 8 in SAI mod. Go through this in the SAI mod race.txt file and change the entries to match.

I could do this myself, but I feel it's up to Alex and Woodman if they want to make a race.txt file for both their mods to work in sync.

I think I got it from here. Just me being lazy and not checking the files properly, all kinds of other stuff to do besides playing DW.
Still, thanks for the help Igard.

I downloaded the mod and my Ugnari's seem to be using stock art, can someone double check this for me pls.

Was this issue resolved? Did anyone else get this problem?

I just started a new game to see

and the Ugnari's had Diverse Worlds Art

It wasn't applied to a game in progress though

Do you know the reason?

I have no idea [&:]  But good to hear it's working now.

Usually it works when applied to a game in progress, but I haven't tried that since the latest patch, maybe that has something to do with it.

Thanks for the great work and please keep on!

Still, I'm a bit worried that we haven't heard about Woodman for a while. I hope he's okay and is still working on this mod.

Every time I check the Design and Modding section I expect to see: Diverse Worlds v20

But then cold merciless reality punches me right in the face and I just get sad like Picard when counting the lights.

Real life ?? - I'm stuck in June 1942 in the Pacific with the Japanese making life hell in northern Australia... I need some sci-fi escapism !

Don't worry I haven't forgotten about this, just been busy doing a couple of other things.  Looking forward to seeing how Distant Worlds runs on my new rig (which arrived today, hooray) once I've put it together [:)]

Good luck with the new comp, WoodMan. May it provide you many years of bug squishing and ship building.[;)]

Not to mention you want to try everything you loved playing again just to see how it behaves now....luckily, we're very responsible and don't play a ton of games [:(]
