Do we get 2 shots at direct fire?

Post by Fred98 »

This question relates to both Opportunity Fire and Direct Fire.

A defender has 2 units stacked in a hex, Unit A and Unit B.

The attacker moves within range and Unit A and unit B both use Opportunity Fire.

During the calculations there are 2 options:

1 - Unit A fires first, and we apply results. Then Unit B fires second and we apply results

2 - Unit A and Unit B combine their factors and make one combined attack.

Does the game use Option 1 or Option 2?

I believe its option B because you can select multiple units to fire at any one unit and the result in the message box does not list results for each attacker. I will verify this tonite.
No problem Chief!

To add confusion (possibly [;)]) I work on it being Option 1. There is no combination of the 2 units' factors to obtain a single damage value. Each unit attacks separately with cumulative damage to target.
