Ok, one of you Brit types are going to have to explain this to me. Since I get my news from the BBC, at least five times I've seen articles about the manager of Celtic get threatened (or in the latest incident, hit on the sideline). What's the story behind that? Seems his own club's fans hate him. Cause he's Irish? What? [&:]
Warspite1

Don't try and bother to understand it Mynok - it's all complete b@&£?&@£. Undercover geek was right - this is all to do with the fact that Lennon is Northern Irish and dared to play for Celtic (from the Catholic half of Glasgow) and later to manage the club.

As such he has made enemies in both his home country and in the city where he has given such great service to the club. Cobblers or what? For the record I am an English Protestant, my other half is Catholic (born in England of Southern Irish parents) and my two children are baptised and have taken Communion as Catholics.

sharks can't block shots forever tithe... [&o] game 7? guess the pundits said it would happen...
Go Wings! [:D]

I guess there are a few Swedes on the Wings, huh? [:D]

Personally, I always root against the Red Wings, just like the Yankees in Baseball. I like the Sharks, but picked and have been rooting for the Canucks since the beginning of the playoffs. I'd like to see a Tampa Bay/Vancouver finals, with Vancouver winning Lord Stanley's Cup. [:)]

exactly...teams that i root against, no matter who they are playing...Yankee's, Lakers, Red Wings, Cowboys, Gators (i just realized that these choices are mostly because of the caliber and character of their fans! [;)])...the fact that the Wings are one game away from an epic comeback is particularly galling...[:@]...well, let the rum flow tomorrow night! either in jubilent celebration or drowning sorrow...[&o]

I hope so!

Progress is definitely being made, but it's slower than we would all like. One of the beta testers recently gave an opinion that a 2011 release was only 50/50. I'm keeping the faith, but can't say with any certainty when the game will see the light of day I'm afraid - sorry....

Yup. it's dry in Texas. This is from the Weather Channel for my little town in Central Texas (near Austin).

Why is 39 degrees just barely beneath 63 degrees (but apparently 39 is also much warmer than 42 degrees)? [&:]

BTW - we have been getting lots of rain over here in Dallas... rained all evening in Copper Canyon (north of Dallas), as well as much of last night.
