1.8.05 BETA bugs

After playing the 1.8.05 BETA multiplayer for a while, we have found the following annoying bugs:

1) Skip phase option only works sporadically
2) Selecting French move order did not work once
3) Lt ship fleets not appearing for everyone
4) Crash-to-Desktop errors when selecting a chit in a land battle (happens in almost every battle!)
5) Game undoing some battles\sieges in the land combat file.
6) Brits got the wind gauge when attacking Spanish ships in a blockade box when they should not have.

I've certainly seen both 1 and 6 in other versions.

What do you mean by 3 ?

I noticed these errors as well, except for #3 and #2.

For #3, you might want to check if the missing light fleets are in the priracy box. Never heard of #2.

#1 occurs if you try to adjust your skip setting in the diplomacy phase, and I'm not sure if you can skip diplomacy yet. (MANTIS 707, but needs a save)

#4 occurs if you use the help menu during the combat. (MANTIS 709)

#5 should be fixed in 1.08.06

#6 I have seen. (MANTIS 783 and 789)

I have to agree that these bugs are very frustrating. The game is almost there, except for a handful of items. It is painful to see that we are so close, and yet progress has crawled to an almost complete halt.

My best guess for #2 would be player error, I'd want to see more than one report of an issue like that before I blame a bug in the game. After a 20 year career in IT support my reaction to such a report would be "Call me if it happens again and/or you can definitely replicate it"
