Source file could not be read - after 5 hours downloading

Damn, 5 hours of downloading and now the source file cannot be read. I'm really reluctant to try starting the process again. Is there a problem at Matrix end or do I really need to start this all over?

Ouch I would be upset too if that happened to me. Do you have a downloader program like Star Downloader? I think that's the one Matrix always recommends.

Hi Das123,

There's no problem with the file on our server. Were you downloading from the Store or the Members Club? Some advice and a link to a good download manager can be found here:

I was downloading from the members area using Firefox. Firefox has a download manager but it couldn't re-establish the connection.

Ok. The Members Area download is unfortunately slow, but I can confirm that the file on our server is not corrupted.

Just happened again after another couple of hours.
I'll try another download manager or is there a better method I should be using?

that has to be frustrating!

Is it the zip file that is corrupted? or the exe after you unzip it? Do you have some AntiVirus SW running that might be intefering?

Also, I've found I usually have to right click on the downloaded file and "unblock" it before I can use it.

It is during the download process. I'm now following Diablo1's advice and trying Star Downloader to see if that helps. In Firefox the file was saying it would take around 8 hours to download. In Star Downloader it is saying 2 hours (it splits file into 4).

This time using Star Downloader it crashed out not able to reach the server after loading 1.4gB. This is really giving me the shits now! Been downloading constantly for 10 hours and I still need to start again.

Belay that. Looks like it has downloaded. I restarted Star Downloader and un-paused the download and then it said it was complete.

I have exactly the same problem, left it downloading all night and had got 1.3Gb before I got the same message.  [:(]

Off to try again, this time with a download manager (yes, I was stupid enough not to use it the first time).

AAARGH!! [:@]  Now when I click on the link in the members area I get the message "421 IP Address Blocked".  Looks like I'm destined not to play this game.

You might try the customer support contact then. It sounds like soemthing they might need to reset.

I hope it doesnt time out on you. I still recall several months ago downloading something on a new comp. had like 4 hrs, so I set to go and went to bed..... only to find out my system had some sleep modes set that pwered everything down 3/4 of the way through.
