Game does not run

Windows 7 64 Bit system

Cross of Iron loads, works great until map is displayed. Dialog box remains, cannot be removed, horizontal lines appear right away, and cannot move or highlight any units. Sound is OK. Scrolling OK. I have tried running programs on earlier Windows settings, still the same. I have also loaded patch 3.5 and 3.6 beta, no changes.

I also have Last Stand Arnhem, but it works perfectly.

Any ideas?

This sounds like a video card setting vs. your game resolution settings. If LSA is working okay then I'd recommend using the same settings for the game resolution as what you're using in LSA. If they're already set the same then it's possible it's a driver issue in which case you'd need to update your video card drivers. If you do all of this and it's still not working please report back here and we'll see if we can help further.

What video card are you running?

What update for LSA do you have installed?

VF201Hunters our lead programmer recommended changing your game resolution to 1024x768 to see if that fixes the problem. That would help point to where the problem lies. Please let us know if that works. Thanks.

I have tried all the above troubleshooting. Nothing has worked! I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 video card. All other games work and change configuration automatically. This is the only game that does not respond.
I also tried to download the latest update, but keep getting an error code.

Errors:

File 1: An error occurred while trying to open an FTP file.

I'll post it in our bug tracking system in the event there is something that can be done about it on our end. Recent Nvidia drivers have been causing problems and they are currently working on the issue.
