Playing an AI while waiting for the patch to go official. I have now seen something several times that puzzles me.

The AI is invading various bases and has been attacking non-atoll hexes on the turn the troops unload. Is there a way to order troops loaded on a TF to attack on the turn of arrival at the invasion site or is this a little AI cheat that is built into the system

Actually, no. On small islands you are actually forced to do a shock attack on the base as soon as you land on the same turn. It happens to me quite often. Larger islands I am not forced to attack right away and can wait for reinforcements to I am good and ready to attack!

I specified non-atoll hexes. Locales are place like Beufort and Brunei
