If you are curious how the paradrops work, play the Sealion battle as Germans. You will see how the scatter works and if you are like me, will find out that they can't swim in the ocean.

Or Heraklion ... don't think any ended up in the sea but surprised at how spread they were. Not that I'm concerned I'm playing Allies [:D]

It's been years now, but from what I remember of Operation Marketgarden, most of the allied casualties were from drowning after plunging in lakes. There was quite some changes in how these operations were handled after that blunder.
