I suggest enhancements to the OOB screen.

Post by Fred98 »

I really like that we can click on any unit in the OOB and the map centres on that unit. But I cannot see the unit because the OOB screen is still open!

ENHANCEMENT 1
That when I click on a unit, the OOB screen closes and then the map centres on that unit.

ENHANCEMENT 2
The ability to filter units. For example, I want the OOB to only display Engineer units or only display AT units.
When using such a filter, of course the HQ units would always be displayed.

ENHANCEMENT 3

Make “ ~ ” a toggle.

Select “ ~ ” to open the OOB

Select “ ~ ” to close it again.

That really isn't going to work too well. Because the OOB is used not just for a schematic view of the hierarchy, but also to RE-ASSIGN the command structure between units within that window.

Make “ ~ ” a toggle.

Select “ ~ ” to open the OOB

Agreed, I did mention this during the beta, but it was stated that focus was to be on actual problems, and aesthetics issues could be dealt with later. Now, since you've mentioned the same thing now, I'm guessing it's time now for that to happen :P
