Reach Area Victory Condition

Reach Area Victory Condition

Hi,

I'm a newbie and I've been tinkering with scenario builder and I'm vexed by the above Victory condition. I built a simple convoy that has to reach a certain point. I set the polygon and type of unit, in this case ship click OK.

When I run the scenario at exactly 59 secs into the running scenario the software evaluates the victory condition and says I've failed to reach the area and therefore have failed to meet the conditions for victory.

I've played with relative and absolute times, delta times and I always get the same failure message.

Ummm ... That sounds like maybe you are running out of time in the scenario?

Bearhunter,

Your problems sounds like it's related to a composite victory condition being used with an incorrect number of conditions set. I seem to remember having this issue in a scenario I modified from the Coldwar Battleset.

As Ralf suggested, zip the scenario up and either post it here or email it to me at:

dbuckley@advancedgaming.biz

I'll take a look and see if I can't deal with the issue and post an answer here to help other players.

Hi bearhunter,

sounds to me you might still have the scenario duration set to zero.
maybe the issue is solved (or maybe youve solved it already) by setting duration to 24 hours.
