Menu query

Post by decaro »

When the player chooses "set battle," at the lower right of the next screen -- to the right of three "modes" -- are two scales from low to ultra and from 500-2000; I have not yet found a description of these scales in the manual, but suspect they have something to do with the size and scope of the scenario.

Some of the scenarios describe size and scope in its description, but as the scenarios are from different developers, the scenario info isn't uniform.

The 500-2000 is the size of the map. The other is based on the amount of points for units so the less points equals less units. Not perfect but gives you an idea of a small battle vs a monster.

Tnx, I suspected as much, but couldn't verify it.

Was that 500-2000 meters of map size?

Map in PCO are always square, one pixel equals one meter. They can be 500m, 750m, 1000m, 1500m or 2000m on a side and square.
